FAQ:
Why do I need this certificate?
mifflinet uses my personal CA chain which is not signed by any further authorities.
Why isn't it signed by known CAs?
Mostly because I don't want to shell out the $$ for a certificate. :)
Do I really need it?
Certainly not. Just create a temporary or permanent exception when you get an SSL error from your browser. This is just here for those who wish to have it.
Is the certificate safe?
This is my personal CA, and I keep it quite secure. I use a 3-tier hierarchy, and keys are stored securely.
How do I know this is the right certificate?
You can verify the certificate hashes against what is listed above, or find the hash values in the README of any mifflinet project.
What do you sign?
This certificate is only used to sign things under my direct authority. Mifflinet is included in that.
I have more questions.
Awesome, cause I just made all these up. Also, that wasn't really a question. Anyway, please feel free to ask questions that weren't answered here.
